Delete your account data

1. Delete your app data

In the app, open Menu → Settings → Delete Account. This erases your attendee record and everything attached to it:

• Your attendee profile: name, photo, role, job title, company, university, bio, interests and links
• Your connections and connection requests
• Your saved sessions and workshop registrations
• Your device tokens, so this device stops receiving notifications
• Your sign-in sessions, so you are signed out

Messages you sent are not removed from other people’s conversations. The text is replaced with [deleted] and your name is detached from it, so the people you spoke to keep a readable thread without keeping your words.

What this does not do. It does not delete your ticket or your order. Those are a purchase record held by a separate system, and we keep them for as long as accounting and tax law requires. If you sign in again after deleting your app data you can: you will get a new, empty profile rather than your old one back.

You can do this yourself in the app at any time. If you cannot open the app, use the request below.

2. Delete everything, including your ticket and order

Email info@idealab.io from the address you used to register, with the subject Account deletion request.

We will confirm we received it, delete what the law allows us to delete, and tell you what we are required to keep and for how long. Records we must keep for accounting or tax reasons are retained for the statutory period and are not used for anything else.

If you write from a different address we will ask you to confirm from the registered one before we act, so that nobody else can have your data deleted.
